Thanks for the F2 results from Cov.

Good to see Shadbolt still doing well, he used to be pretty good at Long eaton.

The Coventry track held up well to the rain it recieved earlier in the afternoon and produced an excellent nights of F2 action.

Well done to Brian Shadbolt on the final win.

Great nights racing at Cov last night. I've found myself really getting in to the F2s these days definatley thinking about doing the F2 world final now. A few years ago I was F1 only fan but now enjoy the tooz just as much. Felt that I had to share that

Polley wasn't there as the tarmac car got alot of damage on Thursday night at Skegness and he had to get it ready for this weekend at Cowdenbeath & Bristol. Having seen the photo's, he's lucky to be able to go out racing again this weekend

having also seen pictures of daves car it is about time f2s looked at plating or increasing the amount of bars in side of roll cage . there are certain cars with very big and in my opion dangerous gaps next to driver .

Have to agree with you Edd2 I also thought it was a very entertaining evenings racing.I like the idea of Friday night meetings at Coventry as its my local track.Also like the bangers and thought they were good value.Over 50 F2s and many more bangers for a friday night is a great effort and a big well done to Brian Shadbolt who seemed very happy with his final win and a great drive from lap handicap in the national.Just a shame not to see a few more spectators.Also spotted Mike Kingstons F1 in the car park,I presume he stopped off on his way through to Kings Lynn.I shall deffo be back on 14th Aug for the next friday meeting.
