DEAN SUFFERS WITH A SEVERE FORM OF EPILEPSY WHICH EFFECTS HIS ABILITY TO MANAGE WITH EVERYDAY THINGS WE ALL TAKE FOR GRANTED.

DEAN WAS HOPING TO HAVE AN OPERATION THAT WOULD IMPROVE THIS FRUSTRATING CONDITION. AT FIRST THE NHS AGREED TO LET DEAN GO AHEAD AND HAVE THE OP, BUT THEN UNFORTUNATLEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS. AS SAID ON PREVIOUS POSTS THIS WAS A BIG BLOW FOR DEAN AND UNDERSTANDABLY HE'S UPSET BY THEIR CHANGE OF MIND.

DEAN IS A REGULAR AROUND THE RACEWAYS, COVENTRY BEING HIS NEAREST TRACK, HE'S A LIKEABLE MAN WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOUR, HE ALWAYS COMES TO SAY HELLO DURING THE MEETING AND WE SPEND MOST OF OUR TIME LAUGHING ABOUT ONE THING OR ANOTHER

WITH DEANS KNOCK BACK FROM NHS, HIM AND HIS FAMILY DECIDED TO GET STUCK IN AND TRY TO RAISE THE £40,000 NEEDED TO PAY FOR THE OPERATION THEIRSELVES. HIS MUM AND DAD AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE BEEN WORKING REALLY HARD TO TRY AND REACH DEANS GOAL. DEANS TELLS ME HIS PARENTS HAVE DONE SO MUCH TO HELP, WITH VARIOUS TASKS SO WELL DONE YOU TWO!

SO NOW YOU KNOW A BIT MORE ABOUT DEAN YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE GOING TO HELP HIM WHEN AND WHERE WE CAN. WE DONATED A SHIRT WHICH MOST DRIVERS HAVE SIGNED, WE HOPE TO AUCTION IT OFF. BINNS515 HAS OFFERED TO DO A STOCK CAR PAINTING! SO IF BETWEEN US WE CAN HELP RAISE A FEW £££ THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!

I THINK DEAN IS THINKING ABOUT JOINING THIS SITE SO IT WILL BE GREAT TO HEAR ABOUT ANY IDEAS HE HAS, AND TO BE ABLE TO TRACK HIS PROGRESS!!
