PostSubject: Auction for Dean Euro Weekend   Sun May 31, 2009 11:11 am

Posted on behalf of Sam & Frankie Wainman Jnr......SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY SEEN EARLIER POSTS ABOUT DEAN?

DEAN SUFFERS WITH A SEVERE FORM OF EPILEPSY WHICH EFFECTS HIS ABILITY TO MANAGE WITH EVERYDAY THINGS WE ALL TAKE FOR GRANTED.

DEAN WAS HOPING TO HAVE AN OPERATION THAT WOULD IMPROVE THIS FRUSTRATING CONDITION. AT FIRST THE NHS AGREED TO LET DEAN GO AHEAD AND HAVE THE OP, BUT THEN UNFORTUNATLEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS. THIS WAS A BIG BLOW FOR DEAN AND UNDERSTANDABLY HE'S UPSET BY THEIR CHANGE OF MIND.

DEAN IS A REGULAR AROUND THE RACEWAYS, COVENTRY BEING HIS NEAREST TRACK, HE'S A LIKEABLE MAN WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOUR.

WITH DEANS KNOCK BACK FROM NHS, HIM AND HIS FAMILY DECIDED TO GET STUCK IN AND TRY TO RAISE THE £40,000 NEEDED TO PAY FOR THE OPERATION THEIRSELVES. HIS MUM AND DAD AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE BEEN WORKING REALLY HARD TO TRY AND REACH DEANS GOAL. DEANS TELLS ME HIS PARENTS HAVE DONE SO MUCH TO HELP, WITH VARIOUS TASKS SO WELL DONE YOU TWO!

SO NOW YOU KNOW A BIT MORE ABOUT DEAN YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE GOING TO HELP HIM WHEN AND WHERE WE CAN.

I'M SURE YOU'LL ALL BE BEHIND US WHEN WE WISH DEAN AND HIS FAMILY THE VERY BEST OF LUCK WITH THIS! WELL DONE TO ALL AND KEEP UP THE HARD WORK.

This auction is taking place over the weekend of the Euro champs, there is a endless list of items up for auction and raffle, there is signed body panels, paintings, t-shirts, 10 x signed A4 photos, team wear, model stock cars (ed creations), the list is going on and on as we speak, im putting this on here now so its fresh on peoples minds come the euros, there will be a display setup for all to see what exactly is up for grabs, like earlier mentioned this is an auction and a raffle so everyone has a chance of winning something, Details are hoping to be in next months magazines, but if anybody wants to donate anything or want any more info about this, then go and speak to Sam Wainman at the tracks she will be more than happy to answer any questions on the matter.

Thanks for taking the time to read this cheers

And don't forget the 2 shirts that Luc Sijbers had signed by a lot of top Dutch F1 drivers and has been trying to get someone to contact him about delivery etc also they wanted a picture of Dean so they could organise some more events to raise cash.
If anyone can email or pm Luc i know he would appreciate it as i have had no success trying to get someone to contact me about it

It is the Team of H21 Jeroen Wekema who has a team-shirt signed by F1 drivers. So all the credits going to him.

Ok quick summary after the scottish weekend.....

If you seen the 515 transporter at Knockhill on saturday you would have seen the amazing panel of Fwj #1 from 98/99 signed by Frankie himself and all the the other pics of panels that will be available and more to add in the next few weeks all being well.

Anyway we now have paintings signed by Fwj and Stu Smith Jnr....and exclusive thanks to Rob Speak we now have a panel off his new F2 complete with race damage, kindly donated by Rob himself at Cowdenbeath, thanks Rob. This will be sorted and put in a frame for the auction as well.
