I've seen it stated that F2 drivers don't get start money. Only F1 and NHR drivers get this, and some individuals may get 'inducements' in other formulas. Can anyone confirm or deny this please?
That a driver's membership contract prevents racing elsewhere must be true, as there have always been occasional infractions with some leading to long-term or even lifetime switches. I don't remember the circumstances but Aubrey 'Foxy' Dance, Eddie Asling, the Wardroppers and Cayzers all left BriSCA/F2 for Spedeworth, and some may have taken the opposite route.
Paul Xuereb previously raced at Ringwood but I'm not sure whether he was a Ringwood 'National Superstox' or a Spedeworth SX2000, though I don't know about the other 2 guys. I know that BriSCA F2 driver Chris Roots was given special dispensation to race at Ringwood about 4/5 years ago with the Ringwood Superstox as it was a special or commemorative meeting. I talked to him during that meeting, really nice guy. _________________ Why not join in with the Name Game? It's not a closed club! Just look at the name of the last driver added, and follow up with a new photo of a driver beginning with the first letter of the last name shown. | I doubt it. From what I've read on Ovalchat they don't even pay their advertised prize money. (Allegedly) |

| At Warton every member who races gets £10 start money at each meeting except Christmas (which we pay £5 to race and it goes towards prize money and the rest to charity). |

| With a certain promotor now controlling both spedeworth and Brisca tracks with possibly more to be added, will 2010 see both superstox and F2 drivers allowed to race either formula providing the cars are legal for whichever formula they are racing in. |
