Just wanted to say thanks to all the people that sponsered me for the Ladies F2 race today I really enjoyed it and special thanks to Gwyn for lending me the car and being soooooo patient, and Simon for the words of encouragement 'If they get in the way just use the bumper' and a big thanks to BB and Liam and Tom for the support. Thanks everyone.

Glad you enjoyed it Debs sorry I couldn;t be there today, I know how worried you were about it,but hey this could be the start of your international racing career I am sure its a big hats off to all the girls who took part and hopfuly lots of funds have been raised.

yes well done to all the ladies for the race today hope the lady who fractured her elbow is ok , was good entertainment looking forward to the next one and beware debbie doo dar has been offered a F1 as well for next years ladies race

debbie doo dar told us after the race that she could only just reach the pedals when she was sat in the car and pushed the accelerator as far as she could reach . she was very very nervous when she went out she had only just sat in the car for the first time when she drove it on the track ! she couldnt reach the start button and was terrified of stalling the car , she was just getting used to being out there when the race was over . but she came off with a very big grin on her face and cant wait to try it again . and i must say i was very proud of her well done debbie and all the other girls out there today

I just wish to add to Debbies post above, I saw Debbie not too long before the start and nervous wasn't quite even touching on it, I don't think it helped with the parade being cancelled. I don't think it was Debbie that I saw shortly after though, I saw a different Debbie, a Debbie with a huge grin and saying I want to do it again.

Debbie I am glad you did it, I am glad you enjoyed it and I knew you would want to do it again.

I caught up with Helen Ford as I was leaving as I felt really bad that in the past years we haven't had one injury, Helen said she if fine a bit battered and bruised and has a fractured elbow but I can confirm that she is ok.

well done to all ladies who took part and debbie glad u enjoyed it will fit pedal extensions for next year lol
