| Me again, cross referancing items for my research on F2 history. Bolton 26th December 1993, meeting held for F1 and F2 cars, F2 final winner required. 30th October 1994 Bolton, F2, V8 and bangers, results anyone ? 1996 12th May Bolton , F2 results anyone ? Boston 4th April 1993 F1 and F2 programmed, meeting programme apparently exists but this is the time of the F1 strike, did this meeting take place ? Bradford 4th November 1983 F1 and F2 programmed, did the F2's appear. 28th October 1996 (as above) 12th October 1997, F1, F2 and saloons programmed, again did this meeting take place and can you help identify the F2 final winner. Thanks in advance, Carlton |

Are you sure this meeting actually ran, Carlton?
I don't remember a Boxing Day at Bolton, and can't see why we'd have not gone, seeing as it was only down the road._________________ LITTLE BOOTS You go, girl!!!! |

| I'm not sure Carl, hence the question as a meeting programme , minus results, does exist. It could have been cancelled, but how has a printed programme for the event been collected ? Carlton |

Yes they did. They ran 3 heats. I have grid and results if required (628 won all 3 heats) |

| Right had a look , no joy on the other you asked about but I found ..... 28/10/96 Bradford - Stu Finnikin 4/4/93 nearest I can find is some results marked 11/4 and that was Mark Woodhull Hope this is of use |

| Yes Stu Finnikin 55 won Bradford 28/10/96. There were no f2s at Bradford 12/10/97- support was from hot rods at i believe the last ever meeting held there- f1 trust fund day. May 93 f1 programme has a f2 roundup and states Boston final winner Mark Woodhull-but no date given so presume he won previous meeting possible 4/4/93? |

| That Mark Woodhull could be right cos I can find no mention in the fixtures of a meet on the 11th so might be printing error |

| To re cap after todays information, the following meetings are still to be researched. Bolton 26th December 1993, meeting held for F1 and F2 cars, F2 final winner required.Might be Ray Tyldesley, but need proof. Meeting cancelled and took place a week later on the 11th, final winner Mark Woodhull. Bradford 4th November 1983 F1 and F2 programmed, did the F2's appear. Meeting took place Kevin Stck the winner in a all in format meeting. 28th October 1996 (as above) Stuart Finnikin final winner. 12th October 1997, F1, F2 and saloons programmed, again did this meeting take place and can you help identify the F2 final winner. No F2's on programme. Bolton and Boston the tricky ones then !! Carlton |

| Knew I went to Bolton on Boxing Day once.... have been searching through my programmes and 26th December 1993 went as follows:- F2 Results Heat 1: - 218 629 239 216 540 753 86 99 713 97 Heat 2:- 218 620 216 99 658 141 629 713 753 108 Final:- 218 753 658 239 216 141 99 97 693 713 A/C:- 540 753 216 239 218 141 713 97 629 730 21 cars were at the meeting racing over the 4 straight races and another final win for Rob Speak. He also raced in the formula ones on that day (1st appearance in the ones??) under the number 518. Wish I could remember whose car he raced. In a meeting of only 15 cars, there were just three red graders, the aforementioned Rob Speak, Phil Smith and Jamie Davidson. Phil Smith took heat one, Craig Haworth heat two, the Final by 200 Owen Brown from the White Grade and Craig Haworth won the all comers. |
