Well folks it was our last meeting at Buxton for 2009 ,weather was a bit chilly with a little light drizzle ,but the rain that was predicted held off .Nine cars started Heat One including a welcome visitor from Warton Stock Car Club Derek Twist no52 [thankyou] none finishers in this one Dave Gavaghan 79 engine problem,Derek 52,oil problem,and Dave Gavaghan snr 179, puncture.The race was won by Graham Morrison no 1,from fast improving driver Liam Deville 47,in 2nd,and Buxton,s lady superstar Samantha Taylor 140 ,4th was Phil Martin 22,[Phil was unlucky to suffer engine problems which caused him to load up ] in 5th place it was Glen Laycock in only his second meeting [more of Glen later
Heat 2 was again a good win for number 1,from Kieth Theakston driving car number 43 [an excellent drive from Kieth who led for a while]in third place it was 47,fourth was 140,fifth was 52,sixth was 69, and seventh 179.
The final was a very fast race with Graham stamping his authority early on with a fast chasing 43 hot on his heels, as the race reached a climax no 1 built up a lead he was never going to relinquishe and took a well deserved win .A fine hat trick ,as this was our autumn championship points were scored accordingly with the lower grade drivers benefitting from multiplied points .So overhall points winner on the day was Glen Laycock driving car 69 in his 1st meeting starting at front of grid ,a great days racing was had by all .Looking forward to 2010 hear are the full results.

It surprised me how fast the FMS get round Buxton, i dont think ive seen a formula more suited to the long staight tight bend set up,well done all,good meeting.
