No, no, no, you don't have to buy four tyres per car plus spares thats just not true

and the drivers know that. The F1s haven't generally run four Hooziers anyway, they run a mix of rally tyres.
The old tyre rule still stands, therefore if you only ran a Hoozier on the outside rear last year, you can do the same next year, but you will be knocking on the door of Mr Goodspeed for that particular tyre.
Having said that, if four goodyears is going to give the top boys the edge over the rally tyres, then yes they will have to buy loads of tyres. Its there choice. Do you wanna race and have fun, or do you wanna win? Similary if a
new but Buffed super soft Rally tyre gives the edge at the moment they will use that, despite it costing over £100 new and only lasting one meeting at Birmingham
How fast do you wanna go

How much do you wanna spend,
to win
This is the question, always has been, always will be
I am not saying i support the decision either way because i don't know enough about it, but ill advised information isn't helping the situation.
Having said that i noticed at Skeg last night, quite a few drivers were running those wide Hooziers on both fronts again, which generally they haven't been doing for some time

Not sure why the change last night, drivers just trying that set up again, or using old stock, does anybody know for definate why last night was different

Very tyred now
