The other issue that could come from the change is i believe the goodyear deal is for 1 year at the moment - are we going to be in the same situation next year having to burn tyres off?

It sounds like a possibility. I hope the tyres don't prove to have better grip, or there will be more shale tracks becoming rutted/damaged I think.
May be in 2011 they might try these http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=16106190.110.25069&typ=R-157251&ranzahl=4&Breite=255&Quer=60&Felge=15&Speed=V&weiter=0&Ang_pro_Seite=10&Transport=P&dsco=110 . After all, tyres are a great leveler and even if they were 1 second a lap slower - so what? If all drivers have to use them, then its just down to the skill of the driver (plus they are 50 quid a pop cheaper )

But can they cope with delivering 500+bhp?

I'm not really bothered by what tyres are used, as long as the racing isn't worse for it. All well and good these Goodyear's lasting longer, etc, but if the cars are going round like they are on rails then we've taken a massive step backwards to the early 1990s and the days of incredibly boring tarmac racing.

well lets just hope its not the same situation half way next season. Would of been better if it had been a 2-3 year agreement especially after they have been tested.

This tyre was just he first one I looked at (took me less than 2 mins to find) and there is a list of more possibles for similar money. The tyre mentioned would come out at around 85" (the same as a small Hard Bozz?). Would it cope with 500Bhp? Quite possibly but that would need the committes approval and a tyre test doing.

Sorry to bring this back to the top again but I have a couple of questions for someone that might know whats going on.

1, Are the Dutch changing to Goodyears too ?
2, If not, will they be allowed to run Hooziers in the UK, eg. World Final ? or will they have to buy Goodyears just for the one event ?

in holland there still waiting what,s gonna happen in 2010,there,s only one track where the hoosier are used and that,s emmen, on the field track,s it,s free to run the tyre you like in stmaarten for example you see different type,s some use hoosier, some use ralleytyres(fedima)and the americanracer are also used

in holland they are starting now a drivers association to get the noses in the same direction with all the top driver,s and supplyers involved.

all the f1 racer,s where getting a question list to answer and we are now waitng for the results but there,s still no sign of what,s gonna happen

Hi Piet 98. How many different governing bodies are there now in Holland, for the the F1 type cars. In the UK it's just the bscda running under Brisca. I remember Acon/naco but how many more are there? and what are the main differances in car specification from Brisca?
Please feel free to ignore me if it's going to be too long an answer

no problem grafter,we have not one governing body who runs it just like brisca i,ll name some example,s
acon runs stmaarten
the chairman of ase and fac runs blauwhuis and emmen
the ezhaco run,s all different one day track,s in the southwest of holland near rotterdam
the nac run,s track,s in the north of holland the most of them clashes with the same races in blauwhuis for example
And this are only the fieldtracks(emmen is the only shale track)all of them have there own rules i,ll think the only ones who comes nearest the brisca rules are emmen and stmaarten
And for insurance there are also different things, for the most of the tracks you have to become a member, when i like to race to tha nac organisation i,ll have to buy a one day license for insurance that, cost me 25 euro when i,ll will come again, i have to become a member from this organisation and put a explanation from my housedoctor to get a lisence
There are also organisations who put the heads together with one insurance(fac blauwhuis, mab texel, ezhaco, emmen for example by this organisation,s you can race when ever you like i,ve it don,t clashes)
For tarmac venray, lelystad i only know they are run,s on different tyre rules

field racers and tarmac racers are most of the time not the same guys,or you go to race on the field,s or on tarmac you don,t use the same car

I,ll hope it,s a little bit understandable for you but that,s how it goes in holland ,ive you have questions no problem at all, i,ll answer it for you, i,ve i know them bounce

Thanks again Piet
Ps To put in a link just try clicking you right mouse button once on the web page at the top of the screen (it will be highlighted). Then click the left mouse button once on "copy". Then when you are ready to insert it , click the right mouse button again once and then select "paste" with one click of the left mouse button again. Job done
