Following on from Lee's excellent post of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCOfYod986A something I had never heard of, let alone seen before, what other just plain crazy incidents, stunts, events can you remeber in this mad wordl of stock car racing ?

I was at that meeting and raced with that mad man Regularly,

I was at long eaton stadium mini owners club event,in which we re,enacted the italian job with 3 minis,with them following each other,hand brake turns etc etc,and ended with me hitting said minis(Driverless) flat out in my hotstox,spectacular distruction. But did not go down well with the mini club.

Loved Phil's attitude when he raced F1's, even when he was fenced with the car in bits he'd just get out with a big grin on his face.

If anyone has a film of the team racing at Odsal in the early 80's I would like to see that. No rules!!! [that I can remember]. Not surprised they didn't do it again.
I don't remember who raced apart from John Dowson possibly, anyone got any more info.

Its the north vs south in regular cars that I was referring to. With none or few rules I was a bit unsure of what I was going to see, but there was no holding back and a fair bit of damage. Don't know whether Bammy offered any incentives to pay for damage or not.
