| Wildcat, I remember the Wainman Smith episode. WVM. I had a lot further to go. My girlfriend at the time worked until 5.30 on Saturdays. I would pick her up and tearar*e up the M6 and A50 [before the new road] No matter what the hold up/weather etc, it ALWAYS took me 90 minutes. Usually missed the rolling lap. [Funnily enough always took me the same time to Cov as well even tho' it was further] |

and the night 495 John Cayzer spat his dummy ...... (I think when he was told he hadn't qualified for the Final)......and drive straight head on into the fence post on turn 1, and we had to wait for half an hour whilst they replaced it.....!!!

My dad told me that johns dad was very ill and took a turn for the worse, and they wouldnt let him off track,so he broke a post. _________________ 391

| Can you remember goods trains stopping and the engine driver and the tail van man watching a race or two. And the tractor man that used to get his fordson major airborn,he now lives over the road from me. and the tractor that buried itself halfway into 85's bus,not sure if he had sold it at this time. _________________ 391
