14-10-09 Just 3 cars there today mascar 45 of jon pomeroy was just going down the road as i arrived but there was a new rce for 383 Jack Brown which had a few teething problems most notably a dodgy coil which when changed allowed him to put in quite a few laps, nice looking car that should be at Barford this sunday along with Dave Polley who was there again with the superstox 128,still forgot to ask the drivers name Embarassed ,all i know is he races/used to race a classic anglia hot rod.

128 is Ivan Russell, he used to race supers in the 80's and has raced an anglia classic for the past 3-4 years as number 111

Just looking at the polleysport car and the more I look at it the more I now like the cars, there back to basics nowt flash (that I can see anyhow) just an axel, panhard rod and four links, At the front we have top and bottom arms, compression strut, shocker, rack and roll bar more or less.
I think f2 cars these days are deffo becoming far to complex and expensive.
And look at the results Dave gets with his cars. Shocked
