| For all you people who didn't make it to KL tonight I feel a special mention is in order. FWJ having been told over the pa that that was the end of the racing for the night after serious engine damage had second thoughts. A frenzy of hands, spanners, leads and lights resulted in a complete engine change for FWJ replacing his with 212's. I take my cap off to the Team for what was a sterling effort to keep the NS SO show rolling. Fwj deserved more out of the meeting that he got but as is often said" that's stock car racing". I thought there efforts were SUPERB. |

| A truely marvelous efort by the wainman team. Cant be to many times an F1 engine has been changed in the space of four races at a meeting. Many hands helped with the change as can be seen by the photo on both sites, but still a lot of work involved. Often great efforts that should be rewarded actually go the other way and pile on more misery, and if what i hear is correct, Dans engine also suffered damage in the GN in franks car. _________________ PEDRO' 'WHO'S THE AVATAR LADY' QUIZ IS BACK. | Just back from KL, I am gutted for FWJ. he had bad kuck in abundance tonight, I thought when it was announced his meeting was over. why noy swap cars with Danny ? there must I guess be a rule against this. can anyone tell me if this is so ? must say when it was announced they were swapping engines I was amazed, never seen this before, but then again there was something else I had never seen before, non contact banger racing ! |

| Well said, A1. Truly magnificent effort from FWJ and team last night. Never seen an F1 engine swap during a meeting before. Would have loved to have seen him get a win after all the effort put in, but unfortunately Frankie's luck was completely out. _________________ LUNDY FOR GOLD 2010

| I suppose the engine change was the only option left on the night, as his engine blew he was on zero points, but to put in all that effort and still get zero points is a real kick in the what nots, fair play to team Fwj for even attempting an engine swap in F1, most would have gone home and worked through the night, i bet he wish he had now, but unless you try these things then you just dont know. Now with Fwj and Dans engine sick does that mean that the tarcar will be at Belle Vue today or father franks car...??? |
