Anyone heard a rumour regarding Spedeworth buying into a couple more tracks?

There is a lot of talk about it on ftooz.

It is just rumour at the moment that is all.

If you read the threads on FTOOZ forum there is lots of talk concerning Spedeworth, most of it shall we say, not positive. There it is said Skegness may fall into Spedeworth's control, but to be honest it's gossip at this moment as many in the F2 world believe Spedeworth are behind many impending rule changes to try and merge F2's with Superstox.
Steve Rees has i believe a close working relationship with Spedeworth ( Ipswich world final ).
Spedeworth have a lot to offer Brisca racing, their tracks would make the sport truely national, and so I'm told, F1's go down very well with Spedeworth crowds.

oh god. I hope he doesnt take over promotion at Buxton. I know a different story to that so I personally dont think he will be doing. cheers fingers crossed anyway. However its been in worse control before king

Skegness the other track? That's a possibility.

From what I know it seems like an internet rumour at the moment

Quite agree Carl !

Surely the days of them and us have passed haven`t they? Brisca could learn from Spedeworth in how to run a meeting ie get it finished on time!!

What would be so wrong with a national F2/Superstox formula? More cars, better meetings? Better competiton? More local Meetings?

Absolutely nothing! It is what many would love to see.

The Supers' and F2's are still a fair way from each other in specification though, even with any mooted rule changes for 2010-13, and I really dont think the two joining together is something that is on the table at this stage.

Nothing but I just don't see the point in changing promotions at skegness. Keep it as it is I say.

Gents, it's just a foundless rumour at present, I think Skegness are doing just fine as they are.
