There is nothing worse than the gap between Nov and April for a Stox fan.
I have come up with a little idea.
It might be a good idea or it might be PANTS.
Hear me out.
Why dont be nominte every Saturday as a certain meeting and Allstoxers post as mnay pictures, videos etc from that stadium for that particular Saturday.
So say, we can decide on the first few days of the week that the up and coming Saturday will be Belle Vue.
So on that Saturday night (about meeting start time) people can post some youtube links etc from that particular track.
I dont know about you but I find it brilliant looking at all those old clips, that 1992 euro, the 1984 World Long Track, the 1995 World Long track.
Priceless really.
What do you all think.

It could work....Gee you guys have a long break..We race nine months of the year..I can just cope with 3 months R&R....Is it hard to link stuff from youtube...

Sounds like a great idea A1. I've got a few 70's and 80's pics (not necessarily brilliant quality) that I could contribute - Aycliffe, Hartlepool, Skeggy, Leicester, Buxton, Wisbech, Doncaster, Odsal, Cleethorpes, and others.

If no one else likes the idea, I might just post the odd pic as and when.

SO as to make this last until next year we ciould have say, a British weekend, euro weekend atNIR. euro weekend elsewhere, world final weekend, long track weekends then run through the tracks, then even have certan driver weekends.
Might make it easir for us to get through the winter months.
maybe start it off when the season finishs.
Have a quick vote at the start of the week and then with people like you adding bits could be quite good really.
Well at least a few people think its good.

I must admit that I didn't think too much of this idea when I first read it......but it's growing on me now. I am coming round to the idea of a themed weekend, be it driver, track or Championship based.....there could be some really interesting stuff posted. That's why I like the "name game" thread and the stuff posted by Chris Binns......all the piccies that I have never seen. I hope there will be a wealth of new stuff that hasn't been online before......I think it is officially NOT a pants idea!!

i have to say NEIL with a name like Neil and a splendid avatar your never really going to have a bad opinion on most things.
We just have too much in common. lol!

There are some real stars out thiere with loads of photos and video clips ad yuotube links, think it could like you said develop into something to look forward to on the cold long dark winter nights.

Gone for a bit of colour on my avaatar but have to say i like your new one.

It's only the F1's that have that long without racing. F2's are still going til next Sunday and then the new season starts 29th February.

Bangers are on 12 months of the year.
