Thanks Spannerman, it really feels like hibernation is nearly over when I see your first practice pictures of the year. Btw when you mentioned Finley Sargent and his tarmac car, does that mean he has also got a shale special to go with it?

Thanks TPS
Grafter yes the old one is now going to be shale only.Mark also told me his plans for the season he is building a tarmac car that may or not be ready for the fist skeggy so they will both have 2 cars plus the F2 HCD will be kept for Fin to race in the juniors in Holland, funnily they only went to the maynards to buy the seat and ended up buying the car complete lol

Thanks Spannerman. It's always interesting to hear snippets of team plans; especially when a team is looking to go to the extent of racing in Holland in the junior F2's ( like I've raised my opinion on before....maybe there is a market place for a rear wheel drive junior formula whith a little poke and progression without the need to sell all their kit when they turn sixteen).

The weather at NIR [not Pr1mo] decided to be warm and dry this week but there were only four cars there 2 1300 stock cars 1 new F2 heritage [can you have a new heritage ?] and the brand new F1 Harris Motorsport built car of 174 Paul Poulter
To say Paul was happy with this new car would be an understatement in his words " if i can't win in this from blue the [expletive deleted] thing will be for sale lol" and add to the fact he has a very nice transporter he went back home with a very big smile on his face

Thanks for the pics Spannerman always tune in to see what you have found , that should be two new cars at  NIR, Paul Hines announced he has a new one ready for this weekend.
As for brand spanking new heritage cars please don't get me started!
Paul Poulter for British champion then or Paul Hines or with the defending champ Paul Harrison it has to be a Paul something!
I did try a can of Pr1mo so I am not surprised it's NIR again.

Thanks for the info Spannerman you certainly do your homework . I just get concerned that with all the heritage going on we will have meetings with 60+ heritage drivers pottering round  and 20 or so in  modern day stuff. I do take my hat off to the craftsmanship though, superb.
I should add although I didn't like the Pr1mo drink. they did put money into the track and sponsor a BriSCA F1 driver so good on PR1MO for that.

Tom Harris was setting up the 464 car and also helping Ryan with the 518 car which was waiting a halfshaft when i left.

A certain top rated stock car driver whispered in my ear he will be down at NIR tomorrow testing his new car. It's an eagerly awaited machine and I'm sure he will ruffle more feathers than he normally does when he's out in it for the first time.
Cannot wait to see it tomorrow.
