PostSubject: Kings of the Oval   Mon Mar 02, 2015 10:35 am

I've been working on this over the winter - my attempt to mark the sixtieth season of F1...

My new book, Kings of the Oval, is going to be released on 1 May. It includes in-depth interviews with nine champion F1 drivers who lifted silverware during the sixtieth season: Stuart Smith Junior, Will Hunter, Paul Harrison, Tom Harris, Frankie Wainman Junior, Mat Newson, Dan Johnson, Craig Finnikin and Rob Speak. And a certain Mr Lund has written the foreword!

You can pre-order at www.chequeredflagpublishing.co.uk/kings.htm. Don't miss the special offer - save a third when you buy Kings of the Oval and get Keep Turning Left.

All pre-ordered books have now been despatched. Thanks to everybody who has purchased one - the local postie might have a sore shoulder this morning!

If you haven't ordered online you can still do so (and still take advantage of the special offer to get Keep Turning Left too) - or you can buy trackside wherever you find the cheerful EdCreations stall, starting at Coventry this Saturday!

Was it just me Suspect
Or did anyone else think that 'special offer' read, as you get a 3rd off the cover price of THIS book by pre ordering on line, plus affraid  the F2 book whizzed in also...

I see your point...  Embarassed Hopefully it's a little clearer on the website. And hopefully the writing in the book is a little clearer!

Great book, lots of words to look at and pictures to read. Good to get the inside view from the drivers on rivals and happenings from recent seasons. A good follow on from 'Sound & Fury' really.
