Brisca site is a bit behind.
Hearing has taken place, suspension has been lifted, 100 booked for Birmingham tonight.

10 point gain by Burgoyne at Birmingham brought the lead down to 23 points.
A good day for Macmillan at Skegness with a final win and 3rd in GN sees the lead back up to 42 points.
All to be decided next weekend at Stoke on Saturday night and either Barford or Belle Vue on Sunday.

From team 100s Facebook page and only the Silver Roof contenders.

Ht1. 100 1st 647 dnf
Ht2. 100 2nd 647 6th
Fnl.  100 3rd 647 5th
Gn.  647 1st 100 2nd

Gap now 57 points apparently. Not mathematically impossible but as good as won for 100.

From official F2 grading list, George MacMillan 91 meetings, average 22.76, Chris Burgoyne 83 meetings, average 24.41.

Sod the average, look at the meetings and comitment required to win this crown !!

Well done both, simply brilliant a season to go with the best of the rest in the sports history.

The hardest crown to win in short oval racing.

Carlton

You know my feelings on this championship Carlton and I'm sure there are other drivers who put in a similar number of meetings/commitment to the champions but only score an average of 7 or so points. So averages do come into play to show the top driving talent/commitment over the whole season. It only takes a ban/personal situation/mechanical woes or injury to scupper a drivers chances of lifting this title as it stands.
