Well i hope Billy has now seen the error of his ways and (even though the rules on car construction are ambiguous at best) realises that one rule he fell foul of was quite clear......the angle of the roll cage front bars has to be between 30 and 50 degrees (his i understand are 53). He isn't the first driver to fall foul of this rule, Mr Harrad had a similar issue and had to redesign his rollcage and then fit a decorative piece to achieve the look he desired. So cheer up Billy Tom and get it the meantime this one is for you

You are correct, we built the car to the spec we had however at some point there was a change, so if I recall correctly Rob took the Rolling Chassis to a meeting to get it inspected, it was declared outside of the rules so we had no choice other than to alter it. I can tell you its pretty soul destroying to cut big lumps out of a brand new car , We used to have a little saying on team 258 :-
' you know its a Stockcar when you have done everything twice'  lol!
