What social media site ? Everything is absolutely fine AND forecast has improved too - dry PM onwards. Whether this is borne - or mistaken for speedway at the new National Speedway Stadium whose disasters have been extensively documented and public and the proposed Colts match tomorrow, called off Friday along with next wednesday because the track is not ready- unsure but has caused some confusion. Christmas run in the midst of the 'great Flood'!

BELLE VUE IS DEFINiTELY 100% ON - Not a hint that it would be off

See Statement re Stoke last night below

Stoke – The Great Storm!

Well Stoke last night will be remembered for the ‘Great Storm’ when at 4.40.pm a rainstorm of biblical proportions together with storm force winds battered Loomer Road for around 30 minutes. At one stage as the V8’s lined up for race 2 of the evening, you could not see the other side of the track with the force of rain and wind leading to a delay in the storm abated a little. Prior to the massive winter works, this could have proved a huge problem as the track almost certainly would have flooded however the drainage system worked well. Effort had been put into the track preparing for the forecast [ although the sheer volume of rain could not be predicted ] with work laying nearly 30 tonnes of limestone and tyre packing completed midnight Friday and time Saturday was used valuably in continuous packing and 30 minutes before start time the track looked awesome. 10 minutes before race one steady rain started for the opening ministox rain followed then by a deluge of biblical proportions accompanied by 50mph gale force winds as those present will be well aware!
The rain storm then produced severe electrical problems with rain having got into the lighting system which continually tripped out the RCD’s and did indeed threaten the meeting. Thanks to assistance offered by F1 driver Karl Roberts and some ‘ingenuity’ after around 40 minutes almost normal service was resumed and we would like to thank Karl publically [ it is the people that make this sport great! ]
I apologise for the delay and problems encountered but, very definitely, this was an act of God! That said a big thank you to staff and drivers for working together on a wet and wild night to ensure the show went on – and the full programme was completed with the last race starting at 9.27.pm and even a hint of dust by the Final.
It goes without saying, after the huge investment and sheer man hours invested, when the end result is such devastating weather it is hugely demoralizing however thanks to the stoicism of all involved the show completed and for that our thanks.

The twitter Msg was misread, the driver means he personally is 50/50 for racing as he has a few issues due to the mud at Stoke.
