Well the silence and total lack of facts continues. Personally I believe its time for the sport to consolidate all its efforts behind the stadia which are owned outright and stop throwing money at rented stadia full stop!
More money going back into these stadia would see more security for them and more investment.

Who are the people behind Brandon estates Jersey Ltd?
Lets take a look at what information is currently freely available....
https://www.jerseyfsc.org/registry/documentsearch/NameDetail.aspx?id=300208 (registered 29th August 2014 and previously called Investin Brandon Jersey Ltd until 9th October 2015) . Unlike companies house beta documents have to be paid for.

Well we have still to hear the promised announcement from JH and co.
But here is an interesting list of payments made to Midland sports stadiums directors back kn 1982.
Certainly at this time the company showed no signs of financial difficulties....

Incorporated as Coventry Stadium Ltd in 1936 and principally owned by the Saunderson family

Changed name to Midland Sports Stadiums in 1950 (which probably co-incides with acquisition of Leicester)

Ownership @ 30/6/82:

Saunderson family 47.3%
Ochiltree family 20.6%
W P Gilmour 12% (who was he?)
Others 20%

I think it highly likely the Saunderson's stillhad effective control in 1982

Directors remuneration was interesting:

1982 total: 82,000 (226k in current prices)
of which:

Charles Ochiltree 28,000 (77k in current prices)
B Saunderson 17,000 (47k in current prices)

nb in 1974 Ochiltree received 14,181 (108k in current prices) [In comparison at Leicester Reg Fearman and Ron Wilson each took 3,400 (or 26k each at current prices)]

MSS Ltd's 1972 Profit before tax (but after Directors remuneration of 22k) was 49k (or 490k in today's prices)
Also of minor interest is that Charles Ochiltree's son Martin was also a director https://www.companysearchesmadesimple.com/company/uk/00320157/midland-sports-stadiums-limited/#people
Now though Martin Ochiltree has moved on a fair bit and is owner of MSO properties, in Coventry (real estate development) https://www.companysearchesmadesimple.com/company/uk/00320157/midland-sports-stadiums-limited/#people
Now this is pure speculation on my part but I wonder if the Ochiltree's had a caveat in the sale of Coventry Stadium to Sandhu? Also councillor Stokes is said to have mentioned that Brandon Estates are not the owners but are only acting on the behalf of a single owner of the stadium.
It would be interesting to hear what the likes of Buildbase or Tengtools make of the proceedings.

Well the bees will be riding, for the start of this season at least, at Leicester's Beaumont Park track. In the closing paragraph of the Horton/Sandhu kiss and make up statement it asks/thanks the fans for their patience and support..... "Lastly both Mr Sandhu and Mick Horton would like to thank the fans for the support they have shown them and the continued patience but now we need you to rally round the team. We have done the first part which was to keep the Bees in existence, now we need you to show us we were right so please look forwards rather than to the past and let's prove everybody wrong"
Sadly I have not seen much patience or support (especially Mr Horton) in the last few weeks and the vast majority of fans have already said they will call it a day in a poll which was carried out, (should the bees move to Leicester). Time will tell but in the meantime we are told to wait a further 9 days (Monday 6th of February) for an announcement from Jeremy Heaver regarding stox fixtures/future at Brandon......

Well if what MickHorton says is true; then Coventry is back on the market. But I doubt they would sell it back to Sandhu and BriSCA don't seem want it/see it as a viable venue (although they have not said why)?
So that only leaves two alternatives:-
A, a miracle intervention by a passionate millionaire
B, a crowd funding initiative backed by a large percentage of the 10,000 plus drivers (according to ORCI's site) around the UK and Europe. Also the the speedway fraternity and the fans of both sports.
Now who has the contacy details for Brandon estates and how much are they asking?

Perhaps Spedeworth will show some interest when all the politics subside. They are already established in the Midlands, and F1 savvy..
Maybe I'm wishful thinking!!..
That aside, it's a real shame the F1 fans and Drivers & Cov Stadium for that matter didn't get the "last ever" treatment! (It would of been absolutely jam packed)... Still that's Sandu's loss too.

Well the gypsies are still occupying land at the stadium....why? Either Billy Tom is making an aggressive take over bid or the owners don't want them removed. if the owners did want them gone quickly they would just call their local baliffs and they would be gone in a couple of days. All very strange.
