Ok,  I know I've gone on a bit in the past about a natural amphitheatre track in the past. Now here is a site that would suit our northern fans (Waimans backyard you could call it lol! )  http://www.dacres.co.uk/buying/news/article/unique-opportunity-to-buy-former-quarry-in-the-yorkshire-dales
Whats not to like?
Ps. Just read this," Apparently it was offered to Yorkshire wildlife trust for free but they didn't want it as people occasionally throw themselves off the top. Someone is apparently looking to turn it into a velodrome which seems like an odd idea".
So if it could be had for free with a sponsorship deal. All other money could go into planning/construction and buying up the odd grumpy neighbours scratch

Have you checked this place out yet Steve? It would make Coventry look like Stoke on a bad day......100ft sound/dust barrier and plenty of parking on a 31 acre site. What's not to like?
Also take a look here  https://binged.it/2mFew08  a typical 330 metre track fits in the "amphitheatre" nicely and the the southern space has good space for transporters and car parking. The road network when approach off the A65 from the north must have been what the old hgv's used previously.
