PostSubject: Signature tunes   Sun Nov 21, 2010 8:58 pm

Our lad has asked me to post this up. He wants to know if any drivers in the past have had their own tune, a bit like boxers have when they enter the arena, in the build up to a fight?
If not, would this be a good idea? and any offers as to what some drivers signature tunes may be?

I would say the absolute classic has got to be

.......Toe Knee Black Burn.....which we started playing , much to his embarrassment, when he was in mini-stox and now F2 (he thought we'd forgotten about it until I dug it out at the last Allstoxnet karting) I even offered to send him a copy and his answer is not allowed here under posting rules.

I wonder if he'll be at this years Allstoxnet karting on Dec 11th at Wigan?

Come on everybody, get your names down with Lofty or 'I'm goin in Ashcroft'. Its a great day out

Maybe I'll take the record with me

When FWJ first raced his all-silver car with silver roof, we played "Silver Machine" by Hawkwind when he won a race.

Thanks for the replies but can we keep it a bit more constructive? Our lad only asked the question as he likes the tunes played on some of the American "sports" shows he watches as they are catchy and help build an atmosphere Wink
