yes like the title says after much negotiation and thanks to steve rees , paul gerrard & barry tempest , the 2012 staging of the under 25s championship has been agreed on . the race will be a stand alone event at the start of the birmingham meeting on sat 20th october , not as originally stated in the fixture list , the original date clashed with the mini gold top race & the F2 world final weekend . we are a few months behind our normal planning for the race but I'm sure everyone will join in again , this is where i start begging . if anyone would like to help out with the event sponsorship usually starts around £10 per lap for the leader up to whatever anyone would like to put into the fund . over the last 6 years we have managed to put well over £8,000 back into the sport , plus other prizes inc tyres , race parts etc . so if anyone would like to help in anyway shape or form please let me know by stopping me at the track ( ask at the 91/191 transporter ) if you don't know who iam , or pm me in here , like i say anything would be gratefully received .

last years champion rob tunnah (505) as stated he will be at birmingham to defend his title maybe in a borrowed ex world championship winning car !

as part of the under 25s race there is also the phil perkins (6) award , which was won last year by josh smith (191) this goes to the driver in 6th place on lap 6 , phil always backed the race with a few crates of beer for the leader on lap 6 which was his racing number until his passing away . so his mechanic curly commissioned the shield in his honour thanx curly mate

well had a top day at buxton yesterday with quite a few people paying there pledges and a few more giving me monies , once again can't thank you lot enough , without the generosity of many this race wouldn't take place .
