ORCI clarify a few rules.......I think
Sun Feb 07, 2016 4:30 pm by Grafter
http://www.orci.co.uk/News.aspx ....unless it's a big meeting and promotions have to inform ORCI and the drivers 2 weeks prior to the event (I will wait and see how that one works).

Coventry doomed rumour
Fri Feb 21, 2014 7:26 pm by Beef Pudding
Apparently the greyhound operation is running their final meeting this weekend? Story goes they have no ongoing guarantee for prolonged future meetings at Coventry which in turn affects their long term policy for growth and development.

Seems there are some vague claims that property development may be on the horizon for Coventry Stadium in general?

Time span before the stock car action could …

Who will be the new F2 number 1 ?
Mon Dec 07, 2015 6:29 pm by carlton
With Gordon Moodie apparently off to F1 racing next season, who is going to take over the title as sports number one ?

When Speakie moved on many years ago, a titanic battle at the top ensued, young Goldin, Moodie, Kitson, Sworder began an epic era of F2 racing, what next for F2, who is going to step up to the plate, and Englishman, an Irishman, a Scotsman, one of those three legged Isle of …

A fresh start
Thu Jan 21, 2016 8:54 pm by Grafter
Been thinking about this over the closed season. As a follow up to the NEC show Wouldn't it it be great to bring all the oval community together to showcase and learn from each other prior to the season starting in earnest. The NEC is fine but oval racing is always going to be second fiddle to the big money motorsports.

Predictions for 2016.....
Fri Jan 15, 2016 11:13 pm by Grafter
.....with a twist. What are your predictions for the coming season.....which will NOT happen?
Heres a couple of starters:- all tracks will install extra traffic lights and start races at random points (without the use of Mr Starter). Northampton will give up its world masters date and run it at Coventry. Sandhu will make good on his word and find an alternative site for Coventry before it closes …

The continuous stox numbers thread
Sun Jun 24, 2012 10:39 am by Nij48
I am sure this has been done before, but how about a continuous thread going up one number at a time (with pics) but preferably not the same formula to follow (ie not F1 to F1).

I will start with this;

Rob Speak F2.

Are V8 stox ready for their rise in profile?
Fri Dec 11, 2015 9:25 am by Grafter
With the quality racing and a push in direction and promotion paying dividends; the V8's look set for a fantastic 2016. With the number of sheds on track in single figures (still no bad thing for the tiny budget racer and for the variety of shapes on track) and new cars seemingly in demand. I would like to wish all those involved the best for next season.
