| My first ever post on Allstox so hello to everybody.
I was at Northampton last Saturday and saw Jim Bamford make his F1 debut in the ex Nick Smith (151) elite chassis.
Got me thinking how many were originally built and what are there on-going histories.
Jim's current motor (although virtually rebuilt over the winter by 302 Team) was originally Nick Smith's.
Another car / chassis was built for Rob Speak obviously. What happened to this?
I seem to remember Jamie Davidson (464) having an Elite motor, but not 100% on that. Obviously Kevin Shinn (121) has a chassis but don't know the history and I seem to remember Craig Utley (484) debuting in an Elite a few years back at Buxton I believe
I'm sure you guys can piece the jigsaw together. |

| I think these are correct....
Rob Speak had the first elite which was scrapped after a handful of meetings, he then raced Jamie Davidson's which is now in the hands of Kevin Shinn aswell as Kevin's original black one.
Ray Witts had one which was sold to Gary Utley and I think Gary still has it, then as you said Nick Smith's is now with Jim Bamford. |

| pretty sure the original Speak Elite was sold to Dean Forward (27), but I don't think Dean raced it.. talking if Dean, he hasn't been seen for a while |

| right - the original yellow speaky one is or was (or maybe i'm just mistaken) in the hands of dean forward?? i'm sure i read that somewhere!!
the world winner is with kevin shinn - aswell as the jag bonneted one he had from new?????
the one built for mr witts is now with the utleys!! they have another chassis, not sure if it is an elite, but if it is then maybe it is the one i thought dean forward had!
and yes the ex nick smith, pete bartrom, Matt smith car is now owned by Jim bamford!! |

| Pretty sure I saw a Dutch lad with one of Speak's Elite cars at Skegness. |

| Wasnt there a Elite copy H11? racing on the fields? Had a big roll a couple of years ago. |
